RDS Success Story: Daniel’s Support Breakthrough

When Daniel first engaged with Rosie Disability Services, he was entering his first NDIS plan with complex behavioural support needs and significant safeguarding concerns impacting both him and his family.

His mother was managing these challenges without a formal support network, and the priority was clear from day one - safety, stability, and building long-term capacity.

Through detailed reporting, collaboration with stakeholders, an evidence-based approach and fierce advocacy, Daniel’s needs were comprehensively presented at review.

We were incredibly proud to receive feedback from the NDIS planner stating Rosie Disability Services' report was “one of the best reports she has ever read.”

As a result, Daniel’s new plan reflects an increase of $367,400 (2,984%), ensuring the right level of funding is now in place to meet his needs.

In a sector often dominated by funding pressures and uncertainty, outcomes like this highlight what is possible when participant needs are clearly evidenced and understood.

We are now focused on engaging the right supports around Daniel and his family to strengthen safety, build capacity, and support meaningful progress toward his goals.
